According to a study by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the five leading chronic diseases—cancer, diabetes, mental illness, heart disease, and respiratory disease—could reach $47 trillion over the next 20 years.

Survey: Most Patients are Satisfied with Medicare Part D Benefits
According to a poll by KRC Research, 95% of beneficiaries noted that their Medicare plans work well, and 94% said their plans were easy to use. In addition, 80% of respondents said that their Part D plans (the portion of Medicare that covers prescription drugs) offer good value and 67% reported reduced prescription drug spending.

HHS Drops CLASS Program from PPACA

CLASS was aimed to be the solution for long-term care insurance in the U.S. The move was expected by many health policy experts because of the price tag.
