McKesson We partner with McKesson for their CERME (CareEnhance® Review Manager Enterprise) product and InterQual® criteria. The InterQual criteria assists with clinical decisions concerning when and how care can be most effectively provided to individual patients to produce the best outcomes. McKesson’s InterQual criteria products are the gold standard in evidence-based clinical decision support. The McKesson product CERME provides the latest in browser-based technology to access the medical criteria, allowing organizations to streamline workflows and enhance consistency. As with all clinical data stored with TCS products, the results of decisions facilitate the collection, sharing and reporting of information. If an Acuity client has a license to use InterQual criteria, one click on a blue diamond icon next to a procedure or diagnosis code takes the user to the criteria.

Milliman Care Guidelines produces annually updated, evidence-based clinical guidelines that span the continuum of care, including chronic care and behavioral health management. Providing much more than authorization criteria, they drive high-quality care through such tools as care pathway tables, flagged quality measures and integrated medical evidence. Acuity also supports the Milliman CareWebQI® product, an interactive product that enables quality improvement and cost efficiency through targeting and reducing inappropriate care. If an Acuity client has a license to use Care Guidelines, one click on a blue diamond icon next to a procedure or diagnosis code takes the user to the criteria. Output from a CareWebQI session is returned to Acuity and stored with the event that triggered a search of the criteria.

Thomson Reuters provides industry standard Length of Stay (LOS) benchmarks in order to make appropriate care-related decisions quickly and effectively and are used to help to pre-certify and pre-authorize LOS for plan members. The LOS data can be used to analyze cost savings and to do data trending. Acuity users can easily access LOS recommendations, and make adjustments to the recommendations if needed.

SAP is the reporting tool used for standard reports in the Acuity product. Approximately 30 reports and letters are delivered with the system. A Crystal Reports Developer package is included with Acuity, so that clients can develop custom reports and letters to meet company or plan specific requirements.
